Wallflower is a design-focused production company specializing in creative lighting and audiovisual event production. Founded in 2021, Wallflower Event Design was established to meet Pittsburgh’s growing demand for innovative and expert event lighting and production management.
With over 20 years of combined industry experience, Wallflower inspires creativity in event producers through our technical expertise, visionary approach, and professional know-how. We have become a trusted partner to event professionals who rely on our services to produce successful concerts, festivals, weddings, and other events.
Wallflower Event Design was founded with a vision of delivering full-service event production to local events in Pittsburgh, PA, while also offering specialized project management for music festivals, tours, and other temporary productions. This vision remains at the heart of our work today, as we balance traveling for high-profile projects with overseeing production for established Pittsburgh events.

Paige Fosse | Co-Founder & Lighting Designer
Early in her career, Paige was always on the move. Her first internship swept her backstage at Bonnaroo, navigating the chaos and camaraderie of escorting news crews behind the scenes. From there, she threw herself into the heart of the country’s most iconic festivals—Hangout, Firefly, Electric Forest, and Coachella—learning to thrive among the challenges and excitement of live event production. A summer in Nashville found her balancing days as a Warner Music intern and nights as a stagehand at Music City Roots. She later returned to Pittsburgh to complete her degree in Media and Professional Communications, along with a certificate in Gender, Sexuality, and Women’s Studies.
By 2016, Paige was a new graduate, focused on mastering the hands-on skills of live event production. She earned certifications to build mobile stages, managed public events with tens of thousands of attendees, and orchestrated concerts and public art installations. She joined the team at local Pittsburgh venues like the Rex, James Street, and Spirit. Paige’s entrepreneurial spirit shone through early—she prioritized freelancing full-time over traditional employment. She embraced the late nights and long hours, knowing her place was backstage, where the grit and glamour of live events collide.
In 2021, Paige teamed up with Greg Coppolo to create Wallflower Event Design, a bold and innovative production company. Their mission: to take on the brave, audacious, whimsical, and groundbreaking projects they loved most. Together, they built a team of skilled professionals capable of bringing complex events to life with ease, turning their vision of a people-first creative production company into reality.
Today, Paige spends most of her time, love and attention on growing Wallflower.
Greg Coppolo | Co-founder & Lighting Designer
Greg’s journey into the live events industry wasn’t part of his original plan. A lifelong lover of the theatre and an amateur musician, it wasn’t until his junior year at Allegheny College, during his first design course, that he began to see his creative passion as a career path. After graduating, Greg launched his professional journey at Buck’s County Playhouse as a lighting technician, sparking a career in technical production.
Over the years, Greg gained diverse experience working with performing arts companies and live event producers across the country, ultimately planting roots in Pittsburgh in 2015. His expertise extends beyond the stage to outdoor events, mobile staging, and festivals. Notably, he played a pivotal role in the Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre’s Open Air series, helping to revive arts in the community post-pandemic and expand access to underserved neighborhoods.
In 2022, Greg co-founded Wallflower Event Design with Paige Fosse, combining evocative design, outstanding customer service, and thoughtful production management. Together, they’re reimagining event design and execution in Pittsburgh and beyond.
